Chihuahua
Chihuahuas are the world's smallest dog breed, but what they lack in size they make up for in personality, courage, and fierce devotion to their families. Originally from Mexico, these tiny companions typically weigh between 2-6 pounds but possess the confident attitude of much larger dogs. They're intensely loyal to their owners, often bonding most closely with one person while remaining somewhat aloof with strangers. These intelligent dogs are trainable but can be stubborn, requiring patient, consistent training methods. Their minimal exercise needs can be met with indoor play and short walks, making them perfect for apartment living. They're best suited for adults or families with older children who understand their delicate size.
